The VISION AVTR was initially presented during CES 2020 in Las Vegas, being inspired by Avatar, the first film in the franchise. However, due to the sequel to the film, Mercedes-Benz has re-introduced the vehicle with a futuristic design that does not have a rudder and its doors are transparent.
According to the car brand, the company plans to go fully electric by 2030. The VISION AVTR aims to demonstrate its commitment to an electric future in favor of the environment, in line with the message of Avatar.
