Google wants you to enjoy its video games without a console: you can play them directly from its Search Engine

Google has launched a new cloud gaming format that allows users to play different titles without a console through the Google search engine, an option already available in the United States and for both the desktop and smartphone versions.

At the end of September, the company announced the closure of its cloud gaming service Stadiareason for which it would reimburse players for the money invested in games and controls and that it would cease to be operational as of January 18, 2023.

In a recent publication shared through Twitter, Google has indicated that those interested in its games will no longer have a problem accessing and playing without a console, since You can search for them through Google Search.

Once they have indicated the name of the title, The first search results for this will be displayed and a button indicating ‘Play’ will appear at the bottom. Directly, it will open it in the browser on both the desktop and mobile version of Google Chrome. This novelty will also be available in the United States, in searches in English.

For now, Google has not given more details about this new game format nor has it specified which titles will be included in this direct search cloud service from the Finder. Nor has it indicated whether it is a free service or will have an additional cost.
