Elon Musk wants only paid Twitter users to be able to vote in his polls

Elon Musk voted for his continuity as head of Twitter and the result was clear: the majority of users considered that he should resign as CEO of the company. Following this fact, the businessman has announced that from now on only paid subscribers will be able to decide on issues related to the policies of the social network.

It is not strange that Musk makes queries through the social network so that users can ‘decide’ on a project. However, if this change is implemented, only Twitter Blue subscribers will be able to participate in the surveys.

SIGHT: Elon Musk says he will step down as Twitter CEO once he finds a replacement

Twitter Blue is the subscription service of the social network that charges its users for having the account verified and obtaining early access to certain functions. The program costs $7.99 per month in the US.

Actually, the idea originated from a user of the social network, who advised the billionaire to make the voting exclusive to paying users.

In the latest survey conducted by the also owner of Tesla and SpaceX, 57.5% of the more than 17 million users who participated voted in favor of Musk resigning from his post, that is, more than 10 million people.
