Faced with Twitter’s refusal to deliver money, hackers have revealed the information of 235 accounts for free on the Internet.

As reported by Cybernews, this filtered data would have 63 GB of information and would contain unique Twitter user records, phone numbers, and emails. This data would allow personalized phishing campaigns to be carried out.

Alon Gal, co-founder of the Israeli security company Hudson Rock, believes thatHackers can use this leaked Twitter database to attack encrypted accounts. They can also hack high-profile and political accounts and infiltrate accounts with good usernames.

According to The Washington Post, these records would have been leaked in 2021. The hackers took advantage of a legal loophole in Twitter’s terms and conditions that allows people outside this network to find any account that matches a phone number or email. .

These queries can be automated to check an unlimited number of phone numbers and email addresses.
