A quivering face, a jellyfish and a pink heart are among the 21 new emojis Apple introduced with the new iOS 16.4 update.

The new emoji released on Monday featured more animals and additional hearts in multiple colors.

According to Emojipedia, the pink heart has been a popular wish for quite some time now, along with the light blue heart and the gray heart.

Last year, Apple introduced 37 new emojis with the 15.4 update, including a pregnant man, biting lip, and melting face.

According to Emojipedia, the new emoji comes from Unicode’s September 2022 recommendation list, Emoji 15.0.

Examples of these emoji designs were first shown in the first beta of iOS 16.4 in mid-February this year.

This time there’s only a new smiley face and two new hand gestures that are great for high fives, and it also comes in five skin tones.

Among the new emojis are a khanda, the symbol of the Sikh faith, and a symbol for a wireless internet connection.

This time around six new animal emojis have been added, including a jellyfish, a goose and a donkey.

Unlike last year’s Apple emoji update, none of the originally revealed emoji designs were revised before their official release today.

Last year, the troll emoji was revised during the beta phase, while previous beta testing periods included revisions (or attempted revisions) of the ???? Bagel and ???? Peach emojis.
