Brightline, the first train company to use Starlink and keep travelers connected

Everything is changing, even the way of using Internet. The Brightline train company has become the first company to use the satellite internet of starlinkas part of the service for your trips.

The company’s customers will be able to access the high-quality internet from the system developed by SpaceX, the aerospace company of billionaire Elon Musk. This is a new step in this internet service that will no longer depend on wiring.

However, it is not the first time that Starlink has been used in a transportation system. According to a report by Somos Eléctricos, the system has been tested in aviation by Hawaiian Airlines or on cruise ships such as those of Royal Caribbean.

This trend is part of the use of more environmentally friendly technologies. The Brightline railway company even has a fleet of electric cars for the interconnected trips of its passengers.

On the other hand, one of the promises of this Internet service is that it could reach any part of the world, even the least accessible corners. There is even talk that it would have reached a fairly high quality of data transmission.

Proof of Starlink’s progress is that until last year it already had more than a million and a half customers subscribed to the service.
