Now, Apple is working on the design of a new Apple Watch X model, with which will redesign the main line of its smart watches and that will incorporate a blood pressure sensor, microLED screen and will have a thinner thickness.

This has been detailed by the analyst Mark Gurman through Bloomberg, where he has stressed that this model “promises to be the biggest renovation to date” of the smart watches of the American company.

However, it will not arrive this year, but rather it is scheduled for the tenth anniversary of the Apple Watch -which was first presented in 2014 and launched in 2015-. That is, according to Gurman, Apple will present the ‘Watch X’ between 2024 and 2025.

Specifically, with this new model, the design of the device will have a thinner thickness and, in addition, the possibility of changing the way in which the strap is attached to the device is being explored. In this sense, Apple is designing a new magnetic fixing system for the strap, so that the connection to the smart watch takes up less space.

On the other hand, the technology also plans to use a microLED screen instead of the OLED screens that are currently used. In addition, the ‘Watch X’ model will incorporate specific technology to monitor the user’s blood pressure.
