After its installation, some people, including a journalist from The Verge, experienced a blue screen of death with the error message “UNSUPPORTED_PROCESSOR”which Microsoft began investigating when it became aware of them.
The error is also being investigated by MSI, as it has been detected that the failure affects computers with Intel processors mounted on boards of this firmof the 600 and 700 series, as confirmed in a statement shared on its website.
To avoid the error, they advise against installing the update. In case you have already installed it, and as a temporary measure, they point out that the update itself should be able to be uninstalled automatically, but if this is not the case, they advise reverting the BIOS to its previous version to uninstall manually.
