Google introduced the SGE in May, as part of its annual developer event. This is an experimental feature that allows generative artificial intelligence to search for users to provide them with overviews and more links with the goal of offering multiple perspectives.

GSE was first available in the United States in English, and was recently activated in Japan and India in their local languages. Now, the company has reported “the largest global expansion yet,” as it has reached 120 countries and territorys, included Peru, Mexico, Brazil, South Korea, Indonesia, Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa. NEW AI FEATURES
Along with the expansion, Google is testing a new way to ask follow-up questions, directly from the results page. That is, when the user enters a first question and the Search Engine offers the first results, they can continue asking questions that, in turn, will obtain new answers. You will be able to navigate up the page to see a sort of history of follow-up questions.
It is also testing improvements to AI translation, especially for words that have different connotations or meanings. In this case, The translation will offer a pop-up notification with the different meanings associated with a word.
This novelty will be available “soon” in the United States for translations from English to Spanish. Also in this country, the definitions of AI-powered summaries for coding and health information will be implemented in December, and in English.
