The brain of this robot, developed by the British company Engineered Arts, operates thanks to the GPT-4 language, the most advanced to date from OpenAI, creator of ChatGPT. It is thanks to this technology that their answers are very convincing.

Ameca is designed to interact directly with humans. It is not a robot designed for heavy tasks such as transporting boxes or doing surveillance work. Instead, Engineered Arts suggests that he could work as a receptionist, be a guide at exhibitions and museums, or give talks.

It features gray rubberized skin on the face and hands and is specifically designed to appear genderless.
