Elon Musk reveals how much Tesla’s humanoid robot Optimus is worth

To which Musk responded: ““The complexity per unit of mass is much greater with humanoid robots, but I still think it ends up costing less than half of a car.”. And taking this response into account, according to Infobae, the humanoid robot could be worth about $20,000.

According to Hipertextual, Elon has declared his intention to turn Optimus into a mass consumer robot. Likewise, he pointed out that Tesla can produce large quantities of the humanoid robot because they have gained experience in manufacturing electric cars.

It should be noted that at the end of last year Tesla presented the second version of its humanoid robot, Optimus Gen 2, with more movement in the neck and hands, and sensors in the fingers to handle delicate objects with different pressures.
