The platform uses AI to propose a solution to the problem represented by the existence of more than 300 different types of sign languages in the worldaccording to data from the United Nations (UN).

Its promoters assured that the tool makes learning the sign language of any country “easy and accessible to users from all over the world.”

The creators, who had the collaboration of the National Council for the Integration of Persons with Disabilities (Conadis), are now seeking to expand the platform internationally, initially to countries such as Chile, Bolivia, Colombia, Mexico and the United States, as well as introduce it throughout Peru through agreements with the Ministry of Education.

As a first step, the Incluedu team and the Alcides Salomón Zorrilla Center for Technical-Productive Education (Cetpro), located in the district of La Perla, in the Lima port province of Callao, signed a commitment to provide one hundred scholarships from the platform to people with disabilities in that educational institution,

The agreement has been considered by its sponsors as “an important step forward towards equal opportunities for people with disabilities, providing them with tools for both their personal and professional growth.”
