VanMoof V, the dual-motor electric bike that promises to reach 60 km / h

VanMoof is a Dutch company that specializes in the manufacture of electric bikes and the last thing he has just presented is his VanMoof V model. It is a high-speed bicycle that includes two engines and, according to its manufacturers, reaches 60 kilometers per hour.

As VanMoof has revealed, it is the first bicycle of the company that is located in the category of ‘hyperbike’, which differs from the usual electric bikes by exceeding the barrier of 25 kilometers per hour. It is expected to see by the end of 2022, as it is still in the development phase.

Its creators have implemented in the VanMoof V two electric motors positioned on the hubs of each tire, which are controlled by an intelligent controller that balances force and speed. Thus, the bicycle reaches up to 60 kilometers per hour, a speed that can be modified according to the regulations of each country.

Also, the VanMoof V enjoy a non-interchangeable 700Wh battery, as is typical for products in this range.

The inclusion of a double suspension system to improve comfort and stability while riding. In addition, the futuristic and minimalist design is a typical feature in VanMoof products and the V model is no exception.

In terms of technologies, the VanMoof V has the TurboBoost (or automatic transmission), a switch that when pressed assists the user with automatic pedaling. It also introduces a security system that allows users to lock the bike without the key.
