‘iTrapo’: Apple sells a cleaning cloth for $ 20

The custom of Apple sell some accessories for your computers, smartphones or tablets at a price that is often surprisingly high.

Apple yesterday presented its new notebooks, MacBook Pro with M1 Max and M1 Pro processors: They are teams that renew the company’s commitment to stop using Intel processors to use others of its own design, based on the work it did with the electronic brain of the iPhone and iPad. They are priced at $ 2,000 and up.

It also introduced some new wireless headphones: the third generation AirPods, with improvements in autonomy and the inclusion of surround audio. They are priced in the US at $ 179.

In both cases, they were announcements very well received by the community of users of the company, since they offer sensible improvements (more autonomy for headphones, for example, or laptops with multiple connection ports).

But the same did not happen with his Cleaning Cloth, or dust cloth, which has a value of $ 20 in the United States, well above what comes out of a generic cloth of equal quality and functionality (although it will not have the Apple logo on it).

As the company explains, “Made from a soft, non-abrasive material, the cleaning cloth leaves all Apple device displays, including nano-textured glass, pristine”.

The one with the cloth to clean the dust from the computer is reminiscent of the wheels that Apple sells to move the cabinet of its Mac Pro, which it presented in April 2020 for $ 699.
