British brand Nothing could market its first smartphone after buzzing with futuristic headphones

According to the 91Mobiles site, Nothing is currently working on the design of its first smartphone. The British company, founded by Carl Pei, one of the founders of the OnePlus smartphone brand, made the buzz last winter, even though it did not have a single product in its portfolio. Last spring, she marketed a pair of futuristic-designed headphones. Radio silence ever since.

A powerful ally

If the company had declared that it would specialize in audio products, its strategic partnership with Qualcomm – which notably involves an investment by the American giant in the activity of the young start-up -, announced recently, already left assume that the group could expand its scope of activity.

The information reported by 91Mobiles suggests that Nothing could soon come to play on the beds of OnePlus. The British company is in fact relying on a premium positioning, with very attractive prices.
