TikTok is already testing paid subscriptions for content creators on its platform

TikTok has started testing the paid subscriptions feature, which allows creators to charge users to access some of their posts exclusively, just like on other platforms like Instagram or Twitter.

The social network has confirmed that it is testing subscriptions on a limited basis, although not globally at the moment, as it has acknowledged to TechCrunch after The Information initially disclosed it.

With paid subscriptions, TikTok allows users to pay creators directly for access to content like exclusive posts.

It is a feature that other social networks have already begun to implement, as is the case with Instagram, which this week has allowed the first creators to use paid subscriptions, which apply to images or live videos.
