AMLO denounces a campaign of “conservatism” against the presidents of Peru and Honduras

The president of Mexico, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, denounced this Monday a campaign of “conservatism” to delegitimize the leftist governments of Pedro Castillo in Peru and Xiomara Castro in Honduras.

“We are respectful of the decisions that are being made in other countries, but it is evident that conservatism is working against the legal, legitimately constituted government” from Castlesaid the leftist president in his morning press conference.
