WHO: “Acute phase” of the pandemic may end in mid-2022 if 70% vaccination is reached

The director of the World Health Organization (WHO), Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesuspointed out this Friday that the “acute phase” of the pandemic of COVID-19 could end in the middle of the year if a vaccination rate of 70% of the world’s population is reached.
