“If you, esteemed European leaders, world leaders, leaders of the free world, do not help us, and do not help us well, tomorrow the war will knock on your doors,” alerted Zelensky in a speech broadcast on Facebook.

The Ukrainian leader said that throughout the day he had talks with many European leaders, including the leaders of France, Germany, the United Kingdom, Turkey and others.

Zelensky stressed that “it was not Ukraine the one that took the path of war” and “proposes to return to the path of peace”.

In a message posted on Twitter, the Ukrainian leader explained that in the conversation with his French counterpart, Emmanuel Macron, he had called for new sanctions against Russia, including its disconnection from the SWIFT transaction system, the establishment of a no-fly zone over Ukraine and other effective measures “to stop the aggressor”.
