He also stated that his trip lasted 12 hours and he left thanks to the helicopter company for which he works. He also gave details of what he experienced on the way from Kiev to moldova.

“It has been terrible, you have been able to appreciate the images on social networks, on the news, and you can a little imagine the seriousness of the matter”he told Latina.

Hipólito assures that he arrived in Kiev and could see the empty streets, while the Metro and the basements were packed with people.

“It was heartbreaking, you saw rows of cars… We arrived as 12 people at the border with Moldova. I saw many people in their vehicles with their personal belongings, I have seen many entities from other nations that have been providing help”he added.

Finally, Hipólito recommended that the authorities organize themselves and know what each Peruvian living in Ukraine needs, since they all have different realities.
