The moment a Russian missile hits the seat of government in Kharkiv, Ukraine’s second largest city | VIDEO

the army of Russia is shelling on Tuesday the center of Kharkiv – second city of Ukraine near the border with Russia – and shells are hitting the local government headquarters, regional governor Oleg Sinegubov said.

“This morning the central square of our city and the seat of the local government of Kharkiv was attacked in a criminal way,” Sinegubov said on Telegram.

“The Russian occupier continues to use heavy weapons against the civilian population”, wrote the governor who reported that the number of victims is not yet known.

His post shows a gigantic explosion and debris strewn inside the building.

Kharkiv it is a city of 1.4 million inhabitants, with a large Russian-speaking population, which is very close to the Russian border.

The city has been under constant siege since Russian President Vladimir Putin launched the invasion against Ukraine last Thursday.
