Floods in Australia force thousands to evacuate

Tens of thousands of Sydneysiders were ordered to evacuate their homes on Tuesday as severe storms flooded much of Sydney’s largest and most populous city. Australia.

In Mullumbimby, a town that was left without phone service, internet and help for several days, local resident Casey Whelan told AFP that many people on his street “You can’t buy flood insurance.”
