The United States estimates that between “2,000 and 4,000” Russian soldiers died in the Ukraine war

Between “2,000 and 4,000” Russian soldiers have died in Ukraine since the beginning of the invasion, Lieutenant General Scott Berrier, a senior Pentagon official, estimated on Tuesday.

Berrier, director of the US Defense Intelligence Agency, gave this estimate to a congressional committee clarifying that these are approximate figures that should be taken with caution.
