Paris under the bombs… The Ukrainian Parliament broadcasts a fake video to challenge Europe

The Eiffel Tower targeted by bombs, fighter planes pounding Paris, cries and cries of children… Friday evening, the Ukrainian Parliament, the Rada, posted a video on Twitter showing the bombarded French capital.

Very anxiety-provoking, this video is artificial and aims to challenge Europeans on the situation in Ukraine, in particular by calling for the establishment of a “no-fly zone”.

“Imagine if this happened to another European capital”

As proof, the video ends with the following sentences, broadcast on a black background: “Imagine if this happened to another European capital. We will fight until the end. Give us a chance to live. Close the airspace over Ukraine, or give us fighter jets. One way of recalling the bombardments that Kiev is undergoing is the other Ukrainian cities.

This call for help from the Ukrainian authorities is reinforced by a warning: “Would the famous Eiffel Tower in Paris or the Brandenburg Gate in Berlin remain standing under incessant Russian bombardment? Do you think this does not concern you? Today it is Ukraine, tomorrow it will be all of Europe. Russia will not stop. »
