A journalist from the US network Fox News was injured in Ukraine

A network journalist American Fox News, Benjamin Hall, was injured Monday while working outside of kyiv and was taken to a hospital, the channel itself reported.

The president of Fox News, Suzanne Scott, assured that the network had a “minimum level of details” about Hall’s condition, although she confirmed that the journalist is hospitalized.

On Sunday, the US government promised to apply “appropriate consequences” for the death of American journalist Brent Renaud, who, according to the kyiv Police, was killed on Saturday by Russian forces in the Ukrainian town of Irpin.

In a televised interview with the CBS channel, the White House national security adviser, Jake Sullivan, said on Sunday that what happened is “shocking and horrifying” and said he was in contact with the Ukrainian authorities to obtain more information about it. that allows taking the “appropriate consequences”.

The death of Renaud, 51, was initially confirmed by the kyiv Police, who blamed the Russian forces for the event.

For his part, the Russian ambassador to the UN, Vasili Nebenzia, denied on Monday that the Russians shot the cameraman and accused the Ukrainians of having done so.

Nebenzia also assured that Renaud was not a journalist, but a filmmaker.

Renaud was hit along with Colombian-American photographer Juan Arredondo, who was injured and was able to be evacuated to a hospital; From there, he wrote a post in which he said his vehicle was fired upon by Russian forces as it approached a checkpoint and Renaud was shot in the neck.
