Russia sanctions Joe Biden and Justin Trudeau and prohibits them from entering the country

Russia imposed sanctions on the US president on Tuesday Joe Bidenreported the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The sanctions also apply to the prime minister of Canada, Justin TrudeauSecretary of State Antony Blinken, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin, National Security Advisor Jake Sullivan, and CIA Chief William Burns.

None of them will be able to enter the country.

The move “is a consequence of the extremely Russophobic policy pursued by the current US administration,” the ministry said in a statement.

In its latest sanctions announcement, the United States has targeted four Russian individuals and one Russian entity. They are accused, among other things, of being related to human rights violations against human rights defender Oyub Titiev.

The US Treasury also said it was adding Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko to its sanctioned list and was also targeting his wife.

The United Kingdom, for its part, has sanctioned 370 Russians and imposed new trade restrictions on Russian luxury products and vodka.

The EU has announced a fourth round of sanctions, this time targeting Moscow’s ability to finance the invasion.
