The plenary of the Supreme Court of Justice of Honduras ratified this Monday the extradition of the former president John Orlando Hernandezat the request of United Stateswhich accuses him of three charges associated with drug trafficking and the use of firearms.
The announcement was made by the spokesman for the Supreme Court, Melvin Duarte, who indicated that Unanimously, the “extradition” was granted.
Hernandez, 53, said today in a public letter that he is “innocent” and “victim of revenge and conspiracy. “I am sure that God will do me justice,” he added.
