Klitschko stressed that the lifeless civilians found in the streets of Bucha after the withdrawal of Russian troops “they had their hands tied behind their backs,” as can be seen in the photographs broadcast by international media.

“For the whole world, and in particular for Germany, there can be only one consequence: Russia cannot receive even one cent more.,” demanded the mayor of Kyiv and called for the implementation of an embargo on Russian oil and gas exports.

“It is blood money, which is used to slaughter people,” he argued.

The mayor of Bucha, Anatoli Fedoruk, denounced this Saturday that when the Ukrainian forces arrived the streets were strewn with corpses and that entire families had been killed, “children, women, grandmothers, men“, he said.

The mayor added that the bodies of 280 people had been buried in a mass grave.

The human rights organization Human Rights Watch (HRW) affirmed this Sunday that it had indications that the Russian Army is committing possible war crimes in the areas under its control, including summary executions of civilians.
