The Speaker of the House of Representatives of United States and the most powerful woman in Washington, the Democrat Nancy Pelosi82, has tested positive for covid-19, his spokesman said Thursday.
“After testing negative this week, Ms. Pelosi tested positive for covid-19″, reported Drew Hammill on his Twitter account, to add that the legislator had no symptoms.
Pelosi stood next to President Joe Biden, 79, at an event at the White House on Wednesday. The Democratic ruler recently received his fourth dose of the anticovid-19 vaccine.
Two Biden cabinet secretaries and several elected officials also recently tested positive for the virus after attending a gala dinner in the US capital.
