Murderer asks to be treated like a baby; demands diapers and pap in a Scottish prison

A trans murderer, sentenced to life in prison for having strangled her cellmate with shoelaces, has a strange claim to the authorities of the prison where she is serving her sentence: to be treated like a baby, to wear diapers and that the guards shake hands to go out and enter your cell, for being a minor.

Back then, Sophie was known as Daniel, and at the age of 18 he was locked up in an institute for young offenders for dangerous driving. He was a month away from serving his sentence when he strangled Algie.

At first, Daniel came out as gay, but in 2016, he came out as trans and began transitioning to Sophie.

In 2019 he served his minimum sentence of 15 years in prison. However, the authorities do not consider releasing her from her.

The Penitentiary Service (SPS) suggested submitting her to a psychiatric evaluation, but Eastwood he replied that this was sexist and transphobic. “The SPS insinuated that as a man he did not represent a risk to the public, but as a woman he did. I don’t think there is any evidence to prove it.”

The prison does not have a protocol for treating prisoners who decide to be “babies”, but is “duly considering” the request for “human rights reasons”.

The woman may be “just looking for attention,” sources told the Daily Record. But for now, they already gave him a pacifier. “Modern prisons are very attentive to human rights and the legal implications that they throw, so due attention is being paid to it,” explained one of the sources.
