Ambassador of Peru to the US, Oswaldo de Rivero, is safe and sound after the shooting at his residence

The Peruvian embassy is located on Massachusetts Avenue in the city.

The District of Columbia Police Department noted on its Twitter account that members of this service have responded to gunshots at the Garrison Street address.
