How Debanhi Escobar died according to the Nuevo León Prosecutor’s Office: this is what is known

The Nuevo Leon Prosecutor’s Office, in Mexicoconfirmed this Friday that the body found on Thursday in a cistern at the Nueva Castilla Motel corresponds to that of the young woman Debanhi Escobarmissing in the area since last April 9.

Gustavo Adolfo Guerrerohead of the Prosecutor’s Office, assured through a video that: “No line of investigation is ruled out, we will put all the resources in our hands to determine the events that have occurred and, if these indicate a crime, they will be prosecuted with all the force of law”.

In the statement, the prosecutor reported that the 18-year-old girl presented deep skull contusion, which would have been the cause of death. No further details have been given. A contusion is the damage that some part of the body receives -in this case the head- due to a blow that does not cause an external wound, according to the diction of the Royal Academy of Language.

Body found in disused hotel cistern

The body of the young woman was found Thursday night in a disused cistern which is located on a property adjacent to the Motel Nueva Castillain the municipality of escobedo, New Lion.

Sources from the state prosecutor’s office confirmed to The universal that outfit and the shoes of the body correspond to those Debanhi Susana Escobar Bazaldua he was wearing when he disappeared, in the early hours of April 9.

After carrying out DNA tests, the State Prosecutor’s Office reported that the body corresponds to that of Debanhi.

The young woman was last seen and photographed in the highway to Nuevo Laredonear to motel where his body was located.

Mario Escobar, father of Debanhi Escobar, said this Friday that the Nuevo León Prosecutor’s Office showed her videos where she observes that the taxi driver who picked her up touched her breasts without her consent, which caused her to get out of the vehicle. “They lied to me and my wife. If you have to bring in the National Guard, let them get in. I have more information.”

The young woman’s father demanded that President AMLO and Governor Samuel García “do what they have to do because I no longer trust the prosecutor, Gustavo Adolfo Guerrero.”

In a conference with the media, father of Debanhi said: “Ask did they plant it?How did (the corpse get to the motel cistern)? She couldn’t climb the fence”.

“This is not a circus. My daughter is dead. Right now I’m going with Samuel. Four times they have searched it (the area where Debanhi’s body was found) and why does it look like the fifth time? Question, did they plant it? She could not have climbed over the fence”, and she refuted the version that Debanhi fell into the cistern.
