Zelensky accuses Russia of wanting to depopulate Donbas and destroy it like Mariupol

He added that if the Russian invaders succeed in carrying out their plans, at least in part, “they will still have enough artillery and planes to destroy the entire Donbas. Just as they destroyed Mariupol.”

This city in the east of the country, “Which was one of the most developed in the region, it is simply a Russian concentration camp in the middle of the ruins. And the order of the occupants in that part of Mariupol which unfortunately they still control differs very little from what the Nazis did in the occupied territory of Eastern Europe.denounced.

Besides, Zelensky thanked US President Joe Biden and Congress for what he saw as “an analogue of the famous Lend-Lease program, which will be very useful in the fight against Russia (…) which helped a lot in the fight against the Nazis during World War II.”

He was sure that this program will now help Ukraine everyone free “to defeat the ideological successors of the Nazis.”
