The journalist Mauro Albornoz narrated his experience in Twitter buying tickets at ridiculous prices.

“There is an error with the eDreams website and tickets to Europe or the US were sold for 4 or 10 pesos. The page is down and there is still no statement about what will happen to the tickets purchased at 4 pesos “, The journalist wrote and attached an image of his ticket to Rio de Janeiro at only 4.72 pesos.

The World Cup Qatar 2022 it was also in the crosshairs of those who found out about the eDreams mistake. The influencer Chapu Martínez bought four round trip tickets to Qatar for only 150 pesos (1.30 dollars).

“They tell me that there is an offer that doesn’t make sense, a flight to Qatar is worth ten pesos (…) There is a reality: published offer, respected offer. I must not be alone. They took out a lot. This is for everyone, there is a Japanese who got a ticket to Barcelona. There are many people who are in a strange relationship right now. On the day of the error, the eDreams page was inactive, but then it returned to normal operation and with the market prices restored.

The journalist Mauro Albornoz commented that several people who bought have received confirmation of their tickets, others have been canceled. In this sense, he explained that the company could cancel the trips arguing that the error is notorious, but that there is a precedent where an airline that made a similar error to eDreams had to compensate the buyers.

For now, on the networks several buyers of these tickets at ridiculous prices announce that they will go in a joint lawsuit against the company.
