According to pro-Russian secessionist leaders, the tank “exploded” in an area controlled by Ukrainian forces.
“At the Azot chemical plant, a tank with chemicals blew up. In principle, it is nitric acid”, Rodion Mironchik, a leader of the self-proclaimed “republic” of Lugansk, said on Telegram.
Local Ukrainian authorities reported Tuesday that the Russian military controls “most” of Severodonetskthe last major city in the Lugansk region not under Moscow control.
