Argentina: Javier Milei in favor of prisoners working to pay for “their stay” in prison

“To the prisoners, instead of rewarding them by giving them money, giving them privileges despite the disaster they made in society, let them pay for it by working”, Milei told TN.

“You can have private prisons where prisoners pay their sentences with their stay working”, he added.

Likewise, the legislator of La Libertad Avanza, who has announced his intention to be president of the Republic, said that he supports the free carrying of weapons, as is the case in the United States.

“Those States that have free bearing of arms, whether progressives like it or not, have much less crime than where you have to be defenseless honest people”said.

Miley He justified that honest people have weapons and stated that he is in favor of their being easily acquired. “I have no problem that they can buy them in supermarkets“, he pointed.

“I understand that this is absolutely and politically incorrect, and that all progressives are going to say that this is dangerous. When you prohibit individuals from having weapons, the only ones you are prohibiting are the honest ones who want another type of security, because criminals continue to have weapons”concluded the far-right politician.
