USA: Shooting at Wisconsin cemetery leaves at least 5 people injured

Multiple people were shot and wounded Thursday during a funeral in southwestern Wisconsin.

The Police Department of racine told residents to stay away from the Graceland Cemetery due to “multiple shots fired” there at 2:26 p.m. local time.

“There are victims, but we don’t know how many at this time,” a police statement said. “The scene is still active and is being investigated,” she said, in a message quoted by the local newspaper The Journal Times.

The shooting occurred when mourners from Graceland fired Da’Shontay Lucas King Sr, who died on May 20 while fleeing from police who shot him. The incident is under state investigation.
