“A few minutes ago in Prado Centro (Medellín) three men attacked a trans woman with chains and a leash. How long do trans people have to live in fear? This year 11 trans women have been murdered in Colombia,” the NGO said on Twitter.

Given what happened, The Trans Community Network asked the Prosecutor’s Office and the Mayor’s Office of Medellín “to clarify the facts, identify and prosecute those responsible.”
