Tropical Storm Karl formed on Tuesday in Mexico in the Bay of Campeche, on the coast of the Gulf of Mexico, for which a tropical storm alert was activated for parts of the southeast of the North American country. The government of Mexico issued a tropical storm watch for the east coast of that country from red cape south to port veracruz.
