This Thursday a Prosecution Court found 48-year-old Erick Francisco Robledo Rosas guilty of the femicide of his partner Ingrid Escamilla.
According to investigations, the man deprived the life of Ingrid Escamilla inside his apartment located in the Gustavo A. Madero mayor’s office, on February 9, 2020.

That same day he was arrested and confessed his crime to the elements of the Citizen Security Secretariat who attended the report.
Femicide of Ingrid Escamilla
On February 9, 2020, the accused Erick Francisco deprived Ingrid Escamilla of her life in an apartment in the Gustavo A. Madero mayor’s office.
Police from the Secretariat of Citizen Security (SSC) detained him at the scene of the crime and at that moment he accepted having committed the crime.
Ingrid Escamilla was 25 years old when she was the victim of femicide, while her aggressor, who was her partner, Erick Francisco “N”, was 46 years old.
This case led to the so-called “Ingrid law”, which was approved by the local congress.
Said legislation prohibits public servants from reproducing, transferring, filtering, sending, negotiating or providing images of female victims who have lost their lives in violent circumstances.
