Vladimir Putin sees no “need” to talk to Joe Biden

the russian president Vladimir Putin said Friday that he sees “no need” to talk to his American counterpart Joe Bidenincluding during the G20 summit next month.

“We should ask him if he is willing to talk to me or not. To be honest, I don’t see the need.” said Putin at a press conference.

at the beginning of the week Biden said he did not exclude meeting with Putin during the G20 summit scheduled for mid-November in Bali, Indonesia.

“We’ll see”declared Biden to reporters when asked if he will use the meeting to speak directly with Putin.

The Russian president added that he had not yet decided whether to attend the meeting.

“The topic of my trip has not been finalized. Russia will certainly participate. We are still thinking about the format.” he pointed.

Russia it has been isolated internationally since it invaded Ukraine in February.
