Some 72 hours after the lifeless body of Lola, a 12-year-old Parisian student, was found inside a suitcase, French police arrested the alleged suspect in the murder, identified as Dahbia B. This Tuesday, the 42-year-old woman released details about the murder.
According to France 24which in turn cited the agency AFPthe Algerian citizen He gave a “fluctuating testimony that oscillated between acknowledging and disputing the facts” during the police interrogation. He began by admitting the murder of the young woman, whom he first dragged to “his sister’s apartment”.

He then proceeded to “shower with the corpse before committing sexual assaults and other acts of violence against her” and “hide the body in a box”. In the moments that followed, the defendant would have had a coffee and listened to music before sectioning the little girl with possible scissors or a knife.
He allegedly ended up drinking the victim’s blood from a bottle, an element that has not yet been found by investigators. The police report accessed by the French media it denotes amazement at the ease and disinterest with which the woman acted in a home which was foreign to her.

When shown images of the student’s body, the Algerian citizen said: “I don’t get cold or hot. I was also raped and saw my parents die in front of me”. Hours after his statement, Dahbia gave the police a plot twist: “It is impossible that she killed a child.”

The young woman legally entered France in 2016, with a student residence permit. He had a first contact with the security forces after file a complaint as a victim of domestic violence in 2018. On August 21, 2022, she was detained at a French airport for lack of residence permit.

The words of a second arrested
A 43-year-old man – who would have sheltered and transported the alleged perpetrator of the homicide – was also prosecuted for the concealment of a corpse and placed under judicial supervision. During his police custody, he claimed to have transported Dahbia and the body from Paris to his home in Asnières-sur-Seine (Hauts-de-Seine).
Prior to this, Dahbia would have offered him “the sale of the elements contained” inside the luggage, which is why the individual agreed to transport it. Two hours after arriving at the individual’s home, the latter called another driver to “I will return to Paris with the suitcase”.
The tragedy that shocks France
Lola appeared dead last Friday night in a common area of the building where she lived in Paris, after her parents reported her disappearance for not having returned from the educational center. Her main suspect was arrested after being captured by the security cameras of the building in which she lived.
According to the autopsy, the 12-year-old girl suffocated to death. The first checks indicated significant injuries to the neck. He had his hands and feet tied.
