Police find bodies that may be of a 10-year-old girl with disabilities and her caregiver

Dutch police found a vehicle on Wednesday night with two bodies that may correspond to a disabled girl and her companion missing since Monday, local media reported.

Hundreds of police and volunteers launched a frantic search for the ten-year-old girl, Hebe Zwartand his caregiver, Sanne Bos26, who disappeared under mysterious circumstances in the south of the country.

Both were last seen in Bos’s car on a motorway heading to the girl’s home in Vught, after the caregiver picked up Zwart from a reception center in the town of Raamsdonksveer.

Police tweeted Wednesday night that The caregiver’s car had been found submerged in water on a ring road near the southern city of Den Bosch.

Police did not immediately confirm if there was anything in the car, but a spokesman later told national broadcaster NOS that two bodies had been found.

“We have every reason to believe they belong to Sanne and Hebe”said the agent. “What exactly happened is still part of the investigation,” he added.

The search team had mobilized a helicopter and sniffer dogs.

The police had warned Zwart needed 24-hour care for his disability.

Netherlands It is crossed by multiple canals and watercourses, so water-related traffic accidents are not unusual.
