Prince Harry will publish his memoirs on January 10 worldwide

The prince harryfifth in line to the British throne, will publish his memoirs on January 10 under the title “Spare”, publisher Penguin Random House announced on Thursday.

“We are very excited to announce the extraordinarily personal and emotionally powerful story of Prince Harry, the Duke of Sussex,” the publishing house tweeted.

On the website created by the publisher to promote the work, it is described as a window into how the the prince responded to the death of his mother Diana 25 years ago, and how his life has been affected since then.

“With its raw and unflinching honesty, ‘Spare’ is a landmark work full of insights, revelations, introspection and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over pain.Penguin Random House said.

Harrysecond son of King Charles III, and his wife Meghan, a former mixed-race American actress, surprised by leaving their royal duties in early 2020 and moving to the United States.

During a shocking televised interview in March 2021, the couple accused the royal family of insensitivity and racism.

Last year, Harry, 37, announced he was writing his memoir, in which he said he would expose the “mistakes” and “lessons learned” throughout his life.

“Spare,” which means spare, will go on sale in January in the UK, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, India and South Africa, the publisher’s website said.

Harry will use proceeds from the book, which will be published in 16 languages, to donate to British charities, it added.
