Donald Trump says Twitter is ‘in good hands now’ after Musk purchase

Former US President Donald Trump estimated this Friday that Twitter “is now in good hands”, after Elon Musk, the richest man in the world, bought the social network.

“I am so happy that Twitter is now in good hands and will no longer be run by lunatics and maniacs from the radical left who really hate our country.”said Trump on his Truth Social platform.

Trump He did not clarify if he plans to return to the network, from which he was blocked after the assault by his supporters on Capitol Hill on January 6, 2021.

In May, Muskfounder of Tesla and SpaceX, opened the door to a comeback of Trump to Twitter, from where the Republican tycoon communicated with his 88 million followers. He did it through his @realDonaldTrump account, unleashing numerous controversies and debates.

Trump considered that its Truth Social network works “better” than Twitterwhich said it “must work hard to get rid of all the bots (automated programs) and fake accounts that have damaged it so much.”

“It will be much smaller, but better. I love Truth!”he added.
