Shooting in Pittsburgh: at least 6 injured during a funeral in a US church

At least six people were injured this Friday in a shooting outside a church in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. USA) while a funeral was being held for the victim of another firearms incident.

A local police commander, Richard Ford, told the media that one of the injured is in serious condition, while the rest are stable.

At the moment the whereabouts of the author or authors of the shots and their motivations are unknown.

Police received the first alert shortly after noon that five shots had been fired in the area where the Destiny of Faith church is located.

After a while, he received another call that fifteen other shots had been fired in that area.

At the time of the shooting, a funeral was being held in that temple for the death of John Hornezes, a man who died in a shooting on October 15 in that city, local media reported.

It is not known if the incident this Friday is related to that shooting.

Videos posted on Twitter show scenes inside the church just as the shots were heard from outside, triggering panic among those attending the funeral.
