In addition, the law will not apply to crimes such as treason, espionage, usurpation of the life of a statesman, violent seizure of power, armed rebellion, public calls for extremist activities, incitement to hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation. of human dignity.

At the same time, It will not be possible to mobilize citizens with pending convictions for attacking people or institutions that enjoy international protection.

Putin it also signed another law that establishes the procedure for alternative civil service during the mobilization period when they had already done so prior to the announcement of this recruitment measure.

In another law enacted this Friday, the president establishes that citizens of volunteer formations that help the Armed Forces (AF) of the Russian Federation, as well as its members, are now covered by the status of military personnel under contract.

According to the head of the second main department of Organization and Mobilization of the General Staff of the Armed Forces, Alexander Tulyaganov, more than 15,000 people have volunteered since the beginning of the Russian military campaign in Ukraine.
