Kherson runs out of electricity as it is evacuated, say pro-Russians

The city of Khersonwhose residents are being evacuated by order of the authorities to safer areas, has been left without electricity, officials reported today pro-Russianquoted by the Russian agency RIA Nóvosti.

”There is no light in the whole city. We are waiting for information (on what has happened)”, said a spokesman for the energy company KhersonOblEnergo.

The authorities designated by Russia in the region of Khersonannexed by Moscow last September, assured this Sunday that Kyiv concentrates a large number of tanks and armor near that Ukrainian zone in the framework of preparations for an imminent offensive.

”They concentrate more and more equipment. Many armored vehicles and tanks arrive”, pro-Russian deputy governor Kiril Stremoúsov said on Telegram.

The pro-Russian official noted that the evacuation of civilians from Kherson keep going.

”The residents of the city can still leave the right bank of the Kherson region without obstacles”, said.
