The American President, Joe Bidenspoke by phone with the general secretary of the NATOJens Stoltenberg, reported the White House on Tuesday, after explosions in Poland whose government attributed them to Russian missiles.

Biden, who earlier spoke with his Polish counterpart, Andrzej Duda, from Bali, where he is attending the G20 summit, concluded his call with Stoltenberg at 6:13 a.m. local time (22:13 GMT), according to the White House.
An emergency meeting of NATO envoys, an alliance in which Poland participates, is scheduled to discuss the incident, which Russia has described as a “provocation.”
