North Korea launches ‘alleged’ intercontinental missile, says South Korean army

North Korea apparently fired an intercontinental ballistic missile (ICBM) on Friday, the military said south koreanthe second launch in two days, amid a record-breaking series of weapons tests.

A South Korean defense official told AFP that “estimates that North Korea fired an ICBM”, without providing further details.
